Balance between the Skeletal, Muscular & Nervous systems
What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a holistic form of manual medicine based upon an established system of clinical diagnosis. It explores the relationship between structure and function throughout the body, aiming to restore its ability to self heal and to bring about balance within the skeletal, muscular and nervous systems.
Osteopaths use a safe, manual approach to treatment, tailored to the individual needs of the patient. Treatment aims to target the cause of symptoms specifically and not the symptoms themselves. A wide, yet selective range of techniques can be used, such as spinal and joint manipulation, joint mobilisation, soft tissue techniques and cranial techniques.
